TNF Inc. — Thrust & Frankenstein, two of Toronto’s most enduring hip-hop icons, joined forces to create a powerhouse collective that bridges legacy and innovation. From the late 1980s to today, TNF Inc. embodies authentic storytelling and unapologetic lyricism rooted in Canadian rap history.
🧠 The Origins

Thrust (Christopher France), a fixture in Toronto’s scene since the early ’90s, rose to prominence with his unforgettable verse on the Juno Award–nominated hit “Northern Touch” in 1998—alongside Rascalz, Choclair, Kardinal Offishall, and Checkmate—which helped legitimize Canadian hip-hop on a global stage. Thrust is also known also known for his classic Ep Past, Present, Future, which was also featured classic tracks and production by Frankenstein.

Frankenstein (Frank Fallico), equally legendary, launched the independent Knowledge of Self label in the mid–90s and earned back-to-back Juno nominations in 1998 and 1999 for his acclaimed single “The Rain Is Gone” and album UV. As both rapper and producer, he shaped the sound of Canadian rap by producing tracks for artists like Choclair and Maestro Fresh Wes.
🔥 The Legacy
Collectively, Thrust and Frankenstein have remained DIY innovators—immersed in boombap roots and the culture’s core—while continuing to write, produce, and release fresh music today. Originally started performing in 1986 - Frankenstein a Gold Record Producer and Thrust legendary Toronto Artist come together to launch the official TNF Inc. releases in 2025, including the powerhouse “REMINISCE (streetmix),” showcasing their classic grit and renewed energy. Thrust continues to tour and pay homage to the golden era of hip-hop, celebrated through electrifying performances such as at “A Night of Hip-Hop in Waterloo”.
